BitGo expands Off Exchange Settlements with new dispute functionality. Clients can now dispute settlements with a partner exchange before settlement completes with BitGo.

Webhooks

Webhook Enhancements

BitGo expands wallet webhook functionality by delivering the following:

  • The lowFeeAddressBalance webhook type for the Add wallet webhook endpoint that enables you to receive notifications when a gas tank balance is running low.
  • The customHttpHeaders parameter for the Add wallet webhook endpoint that enables you to pass custom fields and values.
  • The usePlaceholderData boolean for the Simulate wallet webhook endpoint that you can use to simulate wallet webhooks with dummy data.

In addition, BitGo expands functionality for the Create enterprise webhook endpoint by delivering the accessToken webhook type, enabling you to receive notifications when a new access token is created for an enterprise.

BitGo adds a new reference topic explaining asset precision differences. This new reference explains how BitGo calculates and validates precision differences between BitGo and partner platforms using Off Exchange Settlement.

MPC Error Recovery

BitGo delivers a new integration guide to the Developer Portal that you can use to overcome errors during the MPC signing process. View the integration guide at MPC Error Recovery. In addition, the topic, Install SDK, also updates to better clarify dependencies and .env file set up.


Content Reorganization

BitGo continues with recent content reorganization efforts to make it easier for you to find information. The API reference updates the following:

  • Renames the Allocate section to Settle (Off Exchange)
  • Renames the Settle section to Settle (DVP)

Content Reorganization

The Developer Portal builds upon the content restructure made on 04-02-2025, by moving Concepts from the Get Started section to its own new section. You can now access Concepts from the homepage banner or the bottom of the sidebar navigation.

Ths move streamlines the Get Started section to focus entirely on getting your developer environment set up. In addition, the Developer Portal now categorizes concept topics into the following subcategories:

Crypto-as-a-Service

Renaming BitGo-as-a-Service to Crypto-as-a-Service

To better reflect industry standard terminology, BitGo is renaming BitGo-as-a-Service (BaaS) to Crypto-as-a-Service (CaaS). This update also expands the Overview topic, providing more in-depth information about CaaS with BitGo. In addition, the following integration guides now include JavaScript code samples, along with the existing cURL examples:

Content Reorganization

The Developer Portal delivers a new experience with reorganized content. The new structure is based on client feedback and makes it easier to find guides for common tasks. The new structure includes the following changes:

  • New Deposit section
  • Renames the Transact section to Withdraw
  • Renames the Policy Builder section to Policies
  • Moves the trading guides from the Go Network section to the new Trade section
  • Moves the Concept topics from the Get Started section to the new Concepts section
