Wallet Kit
Overview
The Wallet Kit from BitGo enables you create self-managed hot wallets that you can use to send, receive, and stake digital assets. When you integrate the Wallet Kit, you gain access to over 20 of the top blockchains, as well as over 600 tokens. The Wallet Kit is a one-time integration that's future proof. Onboarding new coins is as simple as updating parameters in your existing integration.
Access to the Wallet Kit is required before using any other BitGo kits. For more information on wallet types, including their difference and key management, see Concept: BitGo Wallet Types.
Security
Depending on the blockchain, wallets at BitGo leverage either multisignature or threshold signature (TSS) technology. All self-managed wallets from BitGo are compatible with key-recovery services, should you chose to use one.
Policies
The Wallet Kit is designed to scale, whether you're a small team or a large enterprise. Once you create wallets, you can enhance security by configuring transaction policies, whitelists, and authorization requirements, enabling your digital assets to move seamlessly and reliably.
Node Infrastructure
Every wallet at BitGo comes with out-of-the-box node infrastructure. BitGo submits all transactions onchain, creating web notifications, so you don't have to maintain your own node infrastructure.
